Opening an Account Without Later Trouble

Registration takes about three minutes and almost every problem people hit weeks later was created during those three minutes. The form is short; the consequences of filling it in carelessly are not.

The sequence that avoids a freeze

- Enter your name exactly as it appears on the NID you will eventually upload — same spelling, same order, no shortened middle name.
- নামটা ঠিক সেভাবেই লিখুন যেভাবে সেই NID-তে আছে যেটা শেষমেশ আপলোড করবেন — একই বানান, একই ক্রম, মাঝের নাম ছোট করা নয়।
- Use a phone number that is registered in your own name and that also carries the wallet you intend to withdraw to. This single alignment prevents the most common rejection at payout.
- এমন ফোন নম্বর ব্যবহার করুন যা আপনার নিজের নামে নিবন্ধিত আর যেটাতেই সেই ওয়ালেট আছে যেখানে টাকা তুলতে চান। এই একটামাত্র মিলই পেআউটের সবচেয়ে সাধারণ প্রত্যাখ্যান ঠেকিয়ে দেয়।
- Set a real date of birth. An adjusted year fails document review later and there is no polite way back from that.

- Decide about the bonus at the deposit screen, not at registration, and leave the tick box empty if you might want to withdraw within a day or two.

- Upload the NID photograph and selfie before you need them. Document review is far less irritating on a quiet Tuesday than on the evening you want the money out.

On our account the request appeared at the first withdrawal above a threshold and asked for two things: a photograph of the national ID card and a selfie holding it. Review took a little over two hours on a weekday afternoon, and no further documents were requested afterwards.

Photograph the card flat, in daylight, with all four corners inside the frame. Two of the three rejected uploads we have seen described to us were simply cropped too tightly, which costs a day for no reason at all.
